When I was about 15 years, I was asked what I wanted to be when I was 30 years, where I replied that I actually figured that I would be dead. When I was around 15 I hung out a lot with a gang and I also sold drugs at the same time. The criminal lifestyle was not so far from me, I'm from a family where my father often was in prison, and I actually had to borrow money to get him out again. My great-uncle and great-aunt sold drugs and many of my other relatives was often in jail. I never thought that I would end up with to win a term as professor of economics at Harvard.
