Eminem made his first single, later he came into the rap group D12 and Proof became one of his best friends, they worked together and they gained a lot of success they group was also like a family for Eminem.
Eminem had a bad relationship with his mother because she was an alcoholic, Eminem also had a girlfriend, her name was Kim they also have a daughter Hailie, but Kim left him. Eminem also made a song called “Kim” where he sings about how much he want to kill Kim, Eminem found her with another man, the song made Eminem very unpopular some people also wanted his music to be banned.
Eminem also released the album called “Slim Shady” Slim Shady was another side of Eminem and he used the name then he was rapping, Kim and Eminem fell in love again, but it didn’t hold that long they broke up.
In April 2001 Eminem got 2 years in prison for weapons charge.
