How I became homeless My name is Afnan, though most people know me as the brave. After my dad died of cancer and my mom’s death just after my dad, because of chock, I could a year later officially be called homeless when I was about 15 years old. I have lived with many abusive foster homes since I was 14 years old, and it was tough times. So I decided that I will not be a victim anymore.
