Types: The types of drugs there are most used is heroin, hash and cocaine. Heroin anesthetizes the central nervous system. The substance gives a rush there was about a minute. This is followed by a pleasant drowsiness.

Being affected by hash is commonly referred to as "unbalanced". The visible signs of intoxication are red eyes, dry mouth, increased heart rate and drowsiness in the movements. A large dose, or a moderate dose of cocaine under some conditions, can overtax (overbelaste) even a healthy heart.

Regular use of cocaine can cause heart palpitations and heart attack. Overdose occurs when the amount taken exceeds the body's ability to cope with the drug. A person's physical characteristics, such as height, weight and gender also influence how a drug affects them.

In some states of India alcoholic drinks are banned.

The prohibition of alcohol in the 1920’s and 30’s in the United States is one of the most famous times in recent American history. The intention was to reduce the consumption of alcohol by eliminating businesses that manufactured and sold it.

Some Muslim countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sudan, Pakistan, Iran, and Libya prohibit the production, sale, and consumption of alcoholic beverages because they are forbidden by Islam.
