”You just call out my name. And you know wherever I am. I’ll come running to see you again. You’ve got a friend.” That’s how the chorus in the song “You’ve got a friend” written by James Taylor sounds. And I think that this song gives us a good example to why it’s important to have a friend.
A friend doesn’t have to be a human. It can be your dog, your horse or maybe your teddy bear. The only thing that matters is: Do you feel safe? Do you trust your friend? Do you like to spend time with your friend? Cause if you do, you have a real friend.
“With friends you can laugh and have fun together. But with the best friends you can sit without saying anything and still have a good time.” That’s a good and true sentence. Cause if you and your friend sits without saying anything and it starts to be awkward, it maybe not a real friend anyway? I think it’s important that you can do everything together. Watch movies, tell stories, laughing, share secrets. But also do nothing together. Just sit. Sit and just knowing, that they have each other at anytime. See, that’s a real friendship!
