Once upon a time, to young people had fallen in love. But their parents never liked each other, so it was really difficult for them to be in love. John’s parents were very selfish and wanted John to marry a rich and successful woman, but not before they told him to. They were also very rich.
Monica’s parents were just regular people, which never liked John’s family. They did not like rich people at all. Maybe because they just were jealous. Monica and John were so in love that nothing could ever tare them apart. One day they sneaked out in the woods, John had something to tell Monica. He told her, that he had to move. His father had got a new job in a big city far away. Monica started to cry when she heard it.
“How can you do that?” she asked.
“Look, I’ve tried everything to talk them out of it, I even said that I could stay here alone” he answered.
Monica couldn’t stop crying. So she ran home, and jumped right into bed. She just couldn’t believe what just happened. It was terrible. If John really loved her, he would do much more than that. She didn’t know that over at John’s house, he was just as upset as she was. He tried and tried to talk his parents out of it, but they were like big rocks. But John was afraid to call Monica and talk to her. She was mad at him, but it wasn’t his fault. He was devastated. But there was nothing to do about it.
