She is know as Nicki Minaj or The Barbie doll, but her real name is Onik Tanya Maraj. She is born in Saint James some is in Spain, on the 8th. December 1982 and are now 30 years old. Nicki Minaj lived with her grandmother until she became five years old. They lived in Saint James because her parent were looking for a place to live, in Queens witch is a part of New York city. When Nicki Minaj was five years old she moved to New York city, and there she grow up. Her parents are from Indian and African. When Nicki Minaj was little she had a hard life because her father drank heavily, took drugs and once he tried to kill her mother by sitting fire to the house. Nicki Minaj attended Elizabeth Blackwell School, and there she played clarinet. She graduated from LaGuardia High School, witch was a high school where you could study on if you were interreseret in music, visual arts and performing arts. She had initially planned to sing at LaGuardia High school but she lost her voice on the day she had to go to audition.
Career
In 2005 realised Nicki Minaj 3 mixtapes and after that she was discovered by Lil Wayne. In 2007 she signed a contract with Young Money and after that a new contract with Cash Money. Nicki Minaj realized her first album in 2010 witch is called Pink Friday. Her album came on a second place on the American billboard 200 witch is a music list for the famous and popular singers. She was the first woman at that time witch had 7 of she’s own songs on Billboard Top 100 List. Her other single witch’s is called “your love” became number one billboard Hot rap Song list, and that made her to the first woman artist that reached at MTV’s annual Hot Rap Lit.
