Bill Gates: biografi og Microsofts historie

William H. Gates III was born October 28, 1955. Better known as Bill Gates. Bill grew up in Seattle and was born of William H. Gates II and Mary Maxwell Gates. He has an older sister named Kristianne and an younger sister named Libby. Bill’s nickname was Tray because he was the third William.

At School he was always the best and he get almost always 12 in character. In 7 grades he got 500 points out of 500 possible points in a math test. He was the first in Seattle that ever has done that.

When Bill Gates was in high school, he didn’t make his homework or listening in the class. His roommates and himself became intrigued by electronics. His roommates were the two co-finder from Microsoft named Paul Allen and Steve Ballmer. Bill Gates and Paul Allen began an effort to make the world's first personal computer, Bill Gates said in 1974 that he had a vision about that in a few years there would be a personal computer on every desk. The first attempt, they managed to create a personal computer. They showed up for IBM who searched for a personal computer. They bought it immediately and it began shortly after being produced for 28 000$. Two months later, the company Apple came with their personal computer as Hewlett Packard (HP) had produced for only 25 000$. When Microsoft heard that, they began immediately on a new PC. The new computer was called MS-DOS and was the first computer that ran on the operating system DOS. It cost only about 20 000$ and had many more features than Apples computer. Today, running 90% of all the worlds computers on Microsoft Windows.
