I'm sitting at home in my room contemplating a picture of a young man. I'm thinking about the expression on his face. Is it sadness? or maybe frustration or disappointment? Maybe it is a combination of all three?
He has a frown on his face and he's trying to look tough. I think he is hurting inside, and hiding the pain behind a tenacious look. He's wearing a sweaty white tank top over his muscular body. He look’s kind of rough.
The fence in the background is tall and forbidding. It's a fence that's made to keep people out, or to lock them in. Could it be that this young man is a prisoner? That would explain the complicated expression on his face. He has to act tough in prison or no one will show any respect to him.
He looks like he is thinking about something. It's probably the thought of how he ended up in jail. How did he even end up in jail? Which crime did he commit to get such a horrible punishment? Maybe he robbed a store or drove into the back of a police car or even worse killed someone? I don't know,. He's not telling me what he did. In fact he doesn't even look very guilty. On second thoughts, the fence doesn't look that much like a prison fence,. There are no spikes and it doesn't look electric. Where have I seen a fence like that? Maybe in my garden? No I don't think so the fence in my garden isn't that tall. Maybe it's a fence around a construction site. No it couldn't be,. This boy doesn't look like a builder. Wait, what's this, an epiphany!
