The grandmother

There was a time, when there were three children. Two boys and a girl. Their names were Thomas, Theodor and Tilde. The three children were brothers and sisters, and the three children lived in a home with their mother and father in a small house deep in the countryside and deep in the wood. The house was also a very old house. The family was not a rich family, but a very poor family.

One day the three children, Thomas, Theodor and Tilde went for a walk into the woods. Thomas, Theodor and Tilde are going very far into the woods. When they had gone a long time and had come really far into the forest, they sat down and began to eat their lunch, which they had carried with them from home.

But suddenly Theodor see a house. He says “come on friends, follow me I can see a house. Let’s check it out”. The children, Thomas, Theodor and Tilde came to the house. They walked around it and looked and looked at the house. The house was very similar and their owned. They had not seen the house before.

They knocked on the house door, and shortly afterwards an old lady came out the door. The lady seems sweet and inviting them into the cake, also food-loving Theodor is also cake-loving Thomas is, so says the boys just fast “YES”. But when Tilde says “come on, boys we’re going home now, because the clock has been many and mom and dad get nervous if we do not come home now” the old woman said “ No!! You will not come from here ever more” “see her nose, it’s a witch-nose, she is a witch” Tilde says to the boys. “Come we run” Theodor says. But the door was locked.
