How come I haven’t heard from any of you in a while? However, I’m not able to describe how much I appreciate that you chose to spend your holidays in rainy little Denmark with me, and how I look forward to finally see you again. This summer history will be written, and I am going to make your stay reach a whole new, undiscovered level. Exaggeration promotes understanding, as you may know. Basically, Denmark do not host any of the biggest tourist attractions. Especially not in the area where I live, but I believe, that our daytrip will be an experience either way.
Considering your family’s love to sports and nature, and the trip to the top of Scafell Pike that we were on last year, I suppose that I have arranged just the perfect day for us. Just keep in mind, the nature here is not unexplored and wild. That’s what I love about it. It’s a calm and safe environment, and invites all family out. Well, it’s not much of a mountain, not the kind you know. I guess it’s what you would call a hill back in England. Reaching as high as 147 meter above sea level, or 480 feet, it’s recognised as the tip of Denmark, pathetic, compared to our beloved Britain. Called Himmelbjerget, roughly translated to “the sky mountain” it is not much of an attraction it self.
