The Creation of Himmelbjerget: A Fanciful Tale

Long long time before the Danish dreamtime, the loved lion king and queen of Denmark was happy because they ruled over Denmark and all its animals and people. They had soon been married in 400 years and decided to make a great party were all the animals of the world were invited. The party was the greatest party of all time, and every animal in the world would visit the lion king and queen to congratulate them with their 400 years of marriage. The lion king and queen talked with a lot of the guests, but once they talked with a Deer king and queen of China, they told the lion king and queen that they were a bit disappointed about the lion king and queen had no high throne. The lion king and queen understood that they weren’t as great as they thought and got very disappointed of themselves and became very sad. The lion king and queen was so sad that they couldn’t stop crying, their tears made their party so miserable and soon the guests begun crying. Their son quickly talked to the great and wise turtle to find out how he could ever make his parents happy again. The turtle told him that he could make a ritual that could make a little earthworm into a giant earthworm. The lion prince borrowed the turtle´s recipe for growth and the turtles teleporting hat. The lion prince then began his journey around the universe to find the ingredients for the recipe. For the recipe he should use fresh newborn stars, dragon eggs, pizza slices, milk from the great unicorn and fire from a narwhale. He then traveled back to the turtle who had the power to mix up these ingredients. The prince then went out to find a earthworm, but he couldn’t find any because all the earthworms were on holiday at the sun. He then traveled to the sun and asked the earthworm king to burrow one of his people, the great earthworm approved and he borrowed a earthworm and traveled back to his sad father and mother. He told them that he could make an earthworm gigantic so that the earthworm could make them a throne. The king and queen and all the guests became very happy, because of the great news. He then gave the earthworm the mixture and placed the worm in the ground. The earthworm dug and dug, and finally he had made the king and queen a throne so that they could look opon their great country. All the animals at the party laughed in joy because of this new throne. And that’s how Himmelbjerget was made!
