Christiania is a beautiful little town in Copenhagen. In 1979 was Christiana created. All of permanent residents own the town and co-operation to make sure the town doesn’t fall apart. There are often concerts with reggae artists or bands in ‘Nemoland’. Christiania definitely stands out with its originality. Everything is unique, the buildings, the people and the laws. One thing that stands out from Christiania is ‘Pusherstreet’. ‘Pusherstreet’ consist of stalls with pushers selling hash. In Christiania hash is legal, but they don’t approve other hard drugs. This town is the most peaceful and nice place I know. It’s filled with good energy.
My father and I have spent a lot of time in Christiania. He brought me to the town for the first time when I was three years old. We would listen to concerts, have dinner or just relax. We used to just hang out by ‘Nemoland’ and talk all afternoon about everything. My father would also tell me stories form his childhood.
A warm summer day my father and I went to Christiania. We started walking by the green spot in Christiania. It’s called the green spot because it’s like a big forest which is different from the rest of Christiania. We enjoyed the nature and a soda. All the people we met were polite and happy. We walked while talking almost all day. The peace we felt to each other and everyone else was fantastic. It reminded me about that if the world were like Christiana it would be better. At the evening we went to a concert. My father held my hand and we walked throw the crowd all the way up to the band who was playing. This was the perfect day. I had no worries and nothing on my mind but love.
