pSY was born December 31, 1977. his real name is park-jae-sang. In South Korea, he is known as a singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, producer, and television personality. However, abroad he just known for his mega hit “gangnam style.” The song became so popular that it was the first YouTube video to get 2 billion views.

His father wanted him to take over the family business in Boston.
