Denmark is a small country with 5.5 million people. Denmark is around 43.000 km2. Many countries such as Sweden, Germany, Norway and England surround Denmark. Most tourists come to see the little mermaid but they also come to see Copenhagen and to visit the Concert house in the DR-city and all the theatres and the Royal Opera. The biggest cities in Denmark are Copenhagen, Odense and Aarhus. Denmark also has one of the best airports in the world but I don’t now much about that. Denmark don’t have any mountains or (rocks) expect the little island Bornholm, they have rocks. Bornholm is mostly a vacation place where many people go during the summer but there are some people who are living on the islan peoplee there are on the islanein the summer but there are some there are living on the island in the winther. d in the wintertime too.
In Denmark we have just elected the first female prime minister. Her name is Helle Thorning Schmidt. We have a monarchy in Denmark and the name of the Queen is Magrathe the second. The Queen has no power. At least every fourth year the people of Denmark elect the 179 Folketing members MP.
