Summary: The film is about Jess, an Indian girl living with her sister, mom and dad. Jess loves to play football, but her family doesn’t allow her to do it. They want her to instead for playing football half-naked; she should find her a man. But Jess can’t give up football because she has talent; she lies to her family, and plays football and fall in love with her couch. After the final Jess gets a scholarship and her family allow her to go to the United States to live her biggest dream.

It’s a third-person narrator, because it’s an all-knowing narrator, and I think the author has chosen a third-person narrator because the author wants us as a watcher to know all the details about everything from Jess, her family, and the football team and not just hear and see Jess point of view.
Personal Characteristics: Jesminder is an Indian girl living in England. She loves to play football and spent most of her time doing it in the park with her friends or with the girl’s football team.
