En dramatisk dag på rideskolen

I am writing to you, because I have a very dramatic and jaw-dropping history to tell you.

In 2012, I rode a lot, and the local riding school was my second home. My best friend Luna and I rode a lot together, and we had one pony each. Our ponies were actually good mates, and were very addicted to each other.

My shocking experience started a completely normal day in November 2012. My best friend Luna and I had spent the whole day at the local riding school, and we had not been out riding my pony Citrus or her pony Sinatra yet. Suddenly, we realized what time it was, and we hurried to the stable and put saddles and bridles on our ponies. We chose to ride a short trip in the woods, because we did not had enough time for a serious lesson. We rode on the way to the forest, Luna and me laughed and talked a lot, and we had a good time.

Suddenly, a fast driving car without lights drove resoundingly beside us. Luna’s pony got very scared, jumped sideways and galloped very fast along the road. Luna, who was not prepared for this at all, fell down of Sinatra. I rushed over to Luna, and asked if she was OK. She was OK, but she begged me to ride after Sinatra, so a car wouldn’t hit him. I rode very fast, and soon I had caught up with Sinatra. I tried to slow down my pony, but Sinatra ran on. We were close to a superhighway, and I panicked a little. I rode up to Sinatra again, but this time I tried to reach Sinatra’s reins to stop him. It just got Sinatra more confused and frightened, and I almost fell off. In that moment, it was like my pony understood the situation. She slowed down, while I was climbing up again. I really felt, that she took care of me. She whinnied after Sinatra, and I saw how Sinatra slowed down. I believed that if Sinatra should stop before the superhighway, it was the best decision to trust Citrus. I just sat there while Citrus in a mysterious, incredible, totally astounding and astonishing way got Sinatra back to me. The only thing I did, was turning Citrus around, and guided her back home. Sinatra totally stressed off, and followed us on the way home.
