It was a Monday morning 3 years ago. Sue and Richard Sinton opened their jewellery shop and put all the jewellery into the window like they did every day, but this day was not like the other days because to day they will be robbed.
Sue was sitting in her back office and was counting the weekly taking when suddenly two men came into the shop and began shouting:” everybody get down on the floor”. The two men wore clown masks and wigs. While all this was happening was Sue watching because in the back office there were a special window that allows Sue to look trough the one side of the window and see the robbers and from the other side the robbers can not see her. The robbers shouted: “do not push the panic button”. Sue could see Richard he was nodding to her that she should not push the panic button because he did not know what the men was capable of doing and he didn’t want anyone to get hurt. The one robber was screaming and trying to scare the costumers who was in the shop, and the other robber took all the jewellery from the windows what they didn’t know was that Sue was in the back office with all the money so Sue hid the money in her sleeves of her jacket. When the robbers got the jewellery they ran out of the shop and towards a car park where there was a van holding. That was their get away car. The robbery took 3 minutes. Richard ran after the robbers and he saw the get away driver, but he didn’t report to the police that he had seen the driver because he was being threatened by the robbers. They said if he went to the police and told that he saw the driver then they will hurt him maybe kill him and wipe out all the evidence. The jewellery has not been recovered.
