Steve Jobs' liv og karriere

Steve Jobs was born the 24 February, 1955 in San Francisco. Steve was adopted a little time after he was born. The lucky parents who adopted him, was Paul and Clara Jobs. Steve was best known as the co-founder, former chairman, and former chief executive officer of Apple. Jobs co-founded Apple in 1976 with Steve Wozniak. They wanted to make a personal computer. The first computer they made, was named Apple I. Later they created Apple II. They gained fame and wealth a year later for the Apple II, one of the first highly successful personal computers. Jobs develop alot of new computer technology, as the company grew alot. Apple became famous, and one of the biggest companys in the world. Then there came a long timed power struggle, and Jobs was forced out of Apple in 1985. After leaving Apple, Steve took a few of its members with him to make NeXT, a computer development company. In 1997, Apple purchased NeXT, so Jobs returned as the companys CEO. He would return the company, which was on the edge of bankruptcy, back to

profitability.

In 1986, Jobs funded the spinout of The Graphics Group (later renamed Pixar) from Lucasfilm's computer graphics division for the price of $10 million. $5 million was given to the company as capital and $5 million of which was paid to Lucasfilm for technology rights.The first film produced, Toy Story in 1995, with Jobs credited as producer, brought fame to the studio after it was released. Over the next 15 years, under Pixar's creative chief John Lasseter, the company produced alot more films that also was very popular.
