New York: rejse, kultur og designinspiration

I’m in New York right now and it’s an amazing city ,i’ve been here for 2 days now and I took time off to write this mail to you, as you can read I’m very busy. I’m here to do some work for my designer outlets in Denmark. I want to get inspired by some of the biggest designers, I can’t wait to walk down Madison Avenue and see all the fabulous shops. I’m also here to experience New York city and to see the culture and find out why New York is such a popular city, so you can also call it a bit of an adventure. My plan is to be in New York at least a month because I have to work most of the time in a designer workshop I have rented. I will create all my ideas in that workshop and take them with me to Denmark.

Besides work I will also experience some tourist attractions. The next week I will visit 9/11 Tribute center, Empire state building, and Times square these are some of the places you can not avoid while you are in New York. I have already visited Coney Island, Madame Tussaud’s, and the international part of the city as I call it, Brooklyn. at the top of my to do list is a whole lot of museums like Ellis Island Immigration Museum, as a designer I need to visit museum of modern art and see modern art through the 20th century and into the 21st century. My expectations from the trip is to get more knowledge about New York and get inspiration to create new art.
