I’m sorry that I haven’t answered your letter, until now. But the last three weeks have been so busy! I’ve been working late almost every day. I still work at the office I told you about last time. Right now we are working with our annual accounts, and it is killing me! That is why I am in London now, to get some time off alone and just relax. One of my friends told me about Madison Avenue, and I thought to myself, I have to go there! It is also a long time ago since I have been shopping. I’ve been saving some money for a while now, but I brought them with me, because I feel that they will be well spent. At the time I am looking for a new purse, and I am thinking Chanel or Prada, if they aren’t too expensive. I’ve heard they cost a lot.
But off course I’m not only her to shop. I’ve always been fascinated with acting, art and theatre, and that’s why I am going to see West side Story, the one who is kind of similar to Romeo and Juliet. I am going with one of me old fellows, a girl from my old school days. When I was 16 years, I lived on a continuation school. I was in an international class, were there also were students from Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland and England. I became were close friends with a girl from England. She now lives in a small town outside of New York, Bayonne. I am going to see her tomorrow, and we are off to the opera in the evening, and I am very excited to see her again. It must be 30 years since I last saw her, but we have been writing emails to each other.
