Sara sucked in a mouth full of cold water. On her next breath, she opened her eyes and saw her alarm clock shining red: 12:02 a.m. Again. Three nights in a row, same dream, same time. Sara sauntered to the bathroom, turning on all of the lights because she was scared of the bad dream that still stuck on her.
The steam from the shower filled the bathroom and Sara breathed it in deeply. She could still fell the darkness of her dream. She tries to relax and closes her eyes. She quickly turned her eyes back open as a wheezing ghost suddenly sucked all of the steam into the drain at her feet. In the same time, a disgusting fishy hand slipped across her shoulder. She screamed and threw her body against the shower wall, and turned the showerhead to the left. Something unknown scalded her neck, shoulder and hand as she battled to stop the water. Adrenaline, pain and fear came from the shower. The bathroom was bright. Her whole body shook as if she had cramps. She reached for a towel to dry herself up. The towel ripped some of her burned skin off, her badly burned shoulder and she screams in pain. She limped to the kitchen, where she kept the emergency burn salve. In the kitchen, the salve was already gone, nothing left.
