Dear Ashburg Collage. My name is _________, I am __ years old and I come from Denmark. I would like to have a scholarship to Ashburg Collage because I think it could be a great opportunity for me to grow, and to get ready to go high school when I go home. I really need a year where I can experience new things and try to be on my own. I also need a year away from Denmark, and away from the people I am used to. I would like to meet some new people. I think this could be an amazing opportunity to experience a new culture and a whole other continent.
My dream has always been to come to Canada, but it was too expensive for my family to travel to Canada, and my mom told me that it was a long way to travel if you could only stay a week or under. I think she is right, Canada has so many things to see and you cannot see them all in one week. I have heard a lot of good stuff about the nature, the school life and the people. I have been told that the Canadian people are very friendly and relaxed. There are some beautiful and special museums and art galleries. One of the things I really want to see, is the National War Memorial in Ottawa. I have I've actually never been to an art gallery. I’ve heard that if I should go to an art gallery, it shout be in Canada, because Canada have some really great artwork in their art galleries. I would also really enjoy seeing the National War Memorial, because I’d like to learn more about Canadian history, when it comes to war.
