The main reason why I chose this topic is that it is something that I personally find interesting but also because it has effected so many people. Only three people died but 264 people were injured in some way or another, and I think that that is many people. Therefore, I wanted to know, why you would want to do such’s terrible things to your fellow human being. The last reason why I picked this I topic is that I want to know more about why the men act like the acted.
Two cooker bombs exploded during The Boston Marathon at 2.49 pm, killing 3 people and injuring an estimated 264 others. The Bombs exploded about 12 seconds and 210 yard from each other, near the finish line on Boylston Street. Later on a large manhunt started, Tamerlan was shot just as a police officer also died. Later on in the evening on 18th of April Dzhokhar was found I a boat and sent to prison.The Trail on Dzhokhar started on April the 8th, 2015, and he got he’s sentence to death on May the 15th, 2015.
During an initial interrogation in the hospital, Dzhokhar alleged that Tamerlan was the mastermind. He said they were motivated by extremist Islamist beliefs and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and that they were self-radicalized and unconnected to any outside terrorist groups. The brothers was born in the former Soviet republic of Kyrgyzstan, into an ethnically Chechen family. And in 2002 they immigrated to the US to get a better life. Because the living condition in the Soviet was not so good.
