What is terrorism? What is terrorism? Terrorism, is defined as reckless violence most often to innocent people. Terrorist acts carried out by individuals, groups or networks to force political change or create awareness of a political or religious message. Therefore, terrorism is about getting a message across. Different kinds of terror There are three basic forms of terrorism: - Governmental terrorism This form of terrorism is characterized by the central government uses terror as part of its policy. A example of state terrorism could be experienced in Nazi Germany under Hitler. People arrested, tortured and often liquidated without legal basis.
