Hi, my name is [NAVN A]. I’m 15 years old and last summer I went on a wonderful vacation.
I travel with a peace organization called CISV. I’ve been traveling with CISV for a long time. I started when I was 11, I went to Norway for four weeks. The program I went on is called a village, where there is 5 people for each country. 1 leader, 2 boys and 2 girls. Every day you had something to do, there was so many people to talk with and there were 4 activities where we played games and so on.
This last summer I went on a program called step-up, where we take a ‘’step up’’ and plan our own activities. The program was in Alsace, France close to the German border one of the most beautiful places I’ve been. The area, the land it’s nature was so beautiful in each way.
I Really think people who loves nature should go. Strasbourg was the city we were in and its really beautiful, but the shops were too expensive. I know that France is known for its model clothes, but the only shop I could go to if I wanted more than one type of clothing was H&M. There were a lot of human standing and wanted you to buy stuff, and there were thieves. My canon camera I bought for a lot of money, got stolen and I’ve gotten my insurance which we fought for in a long time. We went to see the sixth-tallest church called ‘’The cathedral of our lady of Strasbourg’’. It’s really big on the outside, but it’s also big on the inside. When we visited Strasbourg we made different groups. I was in a four-man group and every hour we would switch. First I went to get food from there famous ‘’döner kebab bar’’. After the food (that I would totally recommend) we went to a museum called ‘’Strasbourg’s museum of modern and contemporary art’’. The art was really entertaining and I would recommend it to anyone interested in this form of art style. After that I went shopping with my group and got some awesome t-shirts from H&M. next spot was a bus trip around Strasbourg in a private bus, that was amazing because I sat next to a really hot girl (kind of crush). Finally, we all walked up to see the European parliament, which was really amazing. I’m going to visit Alsace as soon as I am done with gymnasium, and I’m on my journey around the world.
