You might asking me, what I have experienced in my summer vacation. Where should I start?

Mum and dad decided that we had to experience a different culture. We came from city to a country and in the end, decided mum that we should travel to Africa, South Africa. My family agreed.

The day before we traveled, we went to the doctor to get our vaccine.

The next day, we flew from The Copenhagen airport to Johannesburg airport. Already there, we got a culture shock, because of the heat. We took a taxi to Royal Hotel, on Smith Street. We decorated us on three different hotel rooms. We relaxed, but not long before we had to experience “The Apartheid museum” in Johannesburg. My favorite attraction was the “white and non-white” entrance, because it tells much about the different posed race. We was back at the hotel, and spent the rest of the day on card games and stuff.

The next day, took we the “Shosholoza Meyl” (tourist class) to Cape Town.

We took the cableway to the top of the mountain. Incredible view! Not better than, if you are on the top tho! We wasn’t there in a long time before we took the cableway down, we had to reach the school tour in Cape town. The school culture was a lot different, from the school culture in Denmark. I talked with a friend called Meyor Ashlie; he told me many things about South Africa. It was time to say goodbye to Meyor, because we had to be on a safari we reserved. On the safari experienced we, lions, giraffes, monkeys, zebra and much more. Actually, the monkeys lived in the city. We saw elephants.
