The Lyrics is about George who sits with his Guitar and sings about love, he doesn’t knows how to unfold his loves love, and that’s basically what the lyrics is about. He keeps questioning the main things there’re happening in his life- and his lover’s life.

When I first read the lyric and heard the song, I thought it was this beautiful love song for the love of his life, and there somehow happened something between them… But then I found this cover by Santana (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-5M1_DKvb0 after that I began to think that maybe the song isn’t a song about a person, but just a metaphor for society. I google George Harrison, and I found out that he was the one who brought the “spirituality” to the ,,Beatles group” and The Hare Krishna movement as well as some other Hindu elements was a big influence for his writing. In 1967 he professed to Hinduism. That’s why I started looking at the lyrics with spiracle eyes; "I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping While my guitar gently weeps I look at the floor and I see it need sweeping Still my guitar gently weeps "At the first line he senses a lot of potential and hope in people and in every human being on Earth. We can all be extraordinary, great human beings; we still haven't reached our full potential yet because it’s sleeping within us. The same lines are here again in the end of the song. He’s reminding us of all the potential we have, but always forgets. “I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping”, he’s encouraging us to observe where we are standing in our “lives” and how we’re living it, he’s also encouraging us to get rid of/sweep of our bad habits in order to live a “happy” life. "I don't know why nobody told you how to unfold you love I don't know how someone controlled you they bought and sold you"Again, he senses the potential, the ability of human beings to love and do great things. But we still don’t know how to reach our full ability to do it. He reminds us of love, and that we might have forgotten how to love because of all the distractions from the society; we have lost touch with our soul, and it’s controlled by everyone but our self, it’s just like we’re all machines who does what we’re been told- incapable of feeling real love. "I look at the world and I notice it's turning While my guitar gently weeps With every mistake we must surely be learning Still my guitar gently weeps "He sees the world as chaos, and as the world just keeps spinning- without even knowing, we just sit back and watch it happen right in front of our eyes. Yet, he still thinks there’s hope for us. It’s not too late, we all just have to learn from our mistakes, and keep moving with the world- instead of letting the world move us. According to him, we need to save our souls. "I don't know how you were diverted you were perverted too I don't know how you were inverted no one alerted you"He can’t understand how people can’t see what’s going on- and how they can get so distracted that they forget their true “nature” and their souls. We think that there is nothing wrong with us, that we are all 'normal', when the truth is that we are living a lie, we aren’t what we were born to be. To sum up- I think the whole meaning of these lyrics are some spiritual meanings. I think the message in these lyrics/ this poem is something about the humanity and that we can’t let other people control us, we need to remember us self, our soul’s and of course our love. We need to remember to enjoy the little things in this big life, and remember to feel instead of just doing things.
