In the name of father

Based on a true story, In the Name of the Father is about a young Irish man, Gerry Conlon, who was wrongfuly imprisoned in England in the 1970's for a terrorist bombing. He admitted to the crime, but only after police force and torture. Three friends are also wrongfuly imprisoned and they all soon become known as "The Guildford Four." All four receive life in prison. When Gerry's father came to help, he is imprisoned as well, along with Gerry's aunt and 14 years old cousin. Even when the real bomber, allready in jail, eventually confesses that he was the real bomber, the authorties ignore the truth and keep it quiet instead of admitting their errors.
