I have about traditions. I choose this topic because I think it’s really interesting. People will do anything to have the best decorated house in the neighborhood. It’s also pretty funny to see how far people will go for some silly decorations

When it’s time for Halloween and Christmas people are getting weird. Halloween is on October 31st every year. People dress up and scare the kids who are trick or treating. They usually make their house to one big scary house! Halloween was brought to America by some Irish immigrants and it just stayed there. At first people stayed home because they were scared, but now we make parties and have fun on Halloween.

At Christmas, they compare about having the best decorations. If you live in California, they might even make false snow! There’s a huge Christmas dinner on December 24th and the morning after they open presents. They eat turkey, goose, potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce and Christmas pudding for the Christmas dinner.
