I choose to talk about anorexia in the United Kingdom, because I`ve always been interested in anorexia and I hear a lot about it in the media. Society has made an unrealistic image of the perfect body and many people get affected by that. I think it`s a big problem in many countries and it`s important to help the patients because the consequences can be fatal. • What is anorexia? Anorexia is a deadly disease, where the diagnosed cares about their body, how they look and not only that. Anorexia is also a mental illness, it involves a lot of feelings too. There´s no such a thing as “thin enough”, they always set new unachievable goals for their body weight.
