I’ll never forget it. We were sitting in the classroom on Friday afternoon. We were having a History lesson. I remember it clearly. Miss Harper was telling us about Christopher Columbus. Suddenly two men burst into the room. They were wearing masks and carrying heavy guns. “Don’t move!” they shouted. “We are taking over the school!” Some of us screamed. Miss Harper was very brave. She ran between the men and us, spread out her arms, and shouted, “Don’t you dare touch them!” One of the men grabbed her and threw her to the floor. “Shut up! This is a political action. Keep quiet and nobody gets hurt!” One of the men walked over to Miss Harper and said “Come here.” while he was holding his gun to her head. He toke her out of the door and said “If you want these kids to be alive tomorrow, you must pay 1.000.000£ today!” Miss Harper answered “You can’t mean that. It’s impossible to get a million pounds on that time?!” The man in the classroom heard her shouting and walked out to Miss Harper and the other man. We looked at each other. Then I said “Someone must go get some help?” Max, the boy with glasses and a cap, said “I will go get some help, but help me out of the window fast, before they come back. Me and four other boys helped Max out of the window and lay us on the floor again. The men and Miss Harper came inside the door again. After a half hour we heard some sounds from outside, but we couldn’t see anything. Suddenly a FBI man jumped threw the window. The FBI man shouted “Don’t touch the kids, or you will get killed!” The two men looked at each other. Then one of the men aimed after the FBI man. He shot him in the leg and at same time a lot of FBI men jumped inside. Some FBI men ran over and punched the men to the floor while a man took care of the man that got shot. After that a FBI man came over to us and asked “Are you all right kids?”, “Yes, thank you” we answered. The men from FBI took the two men with them, so they could get in jail. Suddenly a boy came into the classroom. It was Max. We all thanked him and said that he was a brave boy. Miss Harper called all our parents, so they could take us home. She told them all what had happened. My dad came over to me and said “Good that we have the FBI. If we didn’t have them, I maybe had lost the thing that means most in my life.” I smiled to my dad and he smiled to me. Then we were going home to my mom to tell her what had happened. That Friday, we were having a really great evening, with candy, chips and cola.
