Hello Anja, I thought it would be a great idea to write a letter to you, so you and my old classmates can see how I am doing, and hopefully you will send one back.
I really miss you guys. There is a lot of difference between Denmark and USA. I can’t really figure out if I like Denmark the most, or USA, but it is also hard to compare, because almost nothing is the same. Also speaking English all day is a challenge for me. For me, it’s weird that there is no lesson called “Danish”, but that’s what it is.
I’ve already got my favourite teacher, even though the other kids say she is the worst, but of course it can change through the years. But the teacher is called Katie, and she is like 28 years. This year is her 4th year. Sometimes, she says she actually wanted to become something else, but it was a family tradition to become a teacher.
The school is very good, no bullying, great teachers (if you ask me) and it is a very new renovated building. The canteen is very good, and the food is actually very good. I remember watching American movies or series, where they judge American school food.
