Karakteristik af Juno fra filmen 'Juno'

In beginning of the film, we were introduced to a rebellious and rude 16 years old girl. She talks before she thinks which can make her difficult to be around, and often she puts herself in an embarrassing situation, especially with Vanessa and Mark. She doesn’t care about her looks or what other people think about her. I would say that she is one of a kind, but at the same way she has an odd way to behave. She is very sarcastic, it she acts like nothing can hurt her. But when the unborn baby comes into the picture it causes her a couple of over-emotional situations during her time of the pregnancy.

The fact that Juno chose to give up the baby for adoption is very brave of her. It takes a lot of courage to walk down the hallways at her high school, as a living scare-example of why you shouldn’t have unprotected sex. Despite that she also shows that she can be independent even though she is only 16 years old. She decides not to get an abortion without discussing it with anyone else, which clearly tells that she doesn’t need help from no other. To me that tells more about her personality, than her sarcasm and provoking way of speaking.
