People in the united states owed slaves because it made everything a lot easier. They could help in the kitchen, on the farms was everything a lot easier.
Describe the life of a slave on a southern plantation. Where did slaves live:
The live about 10 people in one small room.
What kinds of work did they do:
All the girls work in the kitchen where they made food to the farmer and his family, but it’s a really dangerous job because if you made some food there taste not to good you will get a punishment, all the boys work out on the fields it was not so dangerous because the owners was not out on the fields.
How were they punished:
On the fields one person ride on a horse with a whip. In the kitchen the slaves are in the same house/the same room with the owners, if you do one bad thing, would you get a punishment
