Film Review - 12 Years a Slave

The 12 years a slave is a movie about an African man named Solomon Northup. The movie starts with Solomon being kidnapped by two men in 1841. He woke up and was a slave. Solomon was sent with a ship to a slave trader named Freeman. Freeman sold Solomon to a slave owner and farmer named William prince ford. At the farm, William had a carpenter named John Tebeats. John gets in trouble with Solomon and William had to sell Solomon because John wants to kill him. So, William sold Solomon to a drunk man named Edwin Epps. Edwin Epps was a cotton owner who raped a slave named patsy. One day Solomon became free, and he went home to his family and new grandson.

Solomon Northup is a man from the North State. He lives with his three kids Elisabeth, Margaret, and Alonzo, and his wife Anne in a house in New York. Solomon was kidnapped and was a slave for 12 years and had a very hard life. Solomon was called Platt when he worked as a slave. He became free and came home to his family and new grandson. Solomon was an intelligent man and did not think there was a difference between white and black.
