Video Editing is a process of video shoots to create new work. When you are editing you have to be patient and keep practicing. There are many types of editing. Linear video editing is you take several clips from different tapes and are recorded to one single tape. Non-linear editing system is that you are editing on a software and it could be Adobe premiere pro, Sony Vegas Pro, Final Cut Pro and Movie maker for the beginners. Vision mixing is when you are working in a live television or video production and its used to several cameras in same time and switch between the cameras. Editing can you do in old computers and new computers, but you must have the new computers because they are better to editing and there will not be any lag. Before we watched movies by use a video cassette, DVD and today we are streaming on the internet. A film includes a music tracks, special effects, subtitle and sound effects. You will see video editing in music videos and tv commercials. In the early 1950s video tape was very expensive and the quality wasn’t the best. They used a razor blade to cut the video tape they recorded and joined the two pieces to one. In 1956 video recorders were sold for 50.000 dollars and videotapes cost 300 dollars per-one-hour reel. The quality before wasn´t the best. It was first black and white and then today the quality and the audio are much better. Everyone today has a video and photo camera on their phones. Not many people buy cameras than before. The first video was developed for use in broadcast media. In the early 1900s the first experiments in image were completed. This system which was created for broadcast became the standard in the tv industry until 1980s.
