My name is ______ _________and I am 14 years old. I live in Denmark with my wonderful family, mum, dad, brother and my lovely dog. We live in a large city called Esbjerg. I am an eight-grade student at ________ and this is my second last year here.

I would really enjoy participating this scholarship. I saw this note at my school’s noticeboard, when I saw it I knew this is a perfect opportunity for me. I have talked about it with everyone, my family, friends and specifically with my brother. I would really appreciate to participate this scholarship. It was a hard choice for me to choose, which place scholarship wanted to visit. I finally decided to participate in Bachmann Academy in Tennessee, USA. I have always wanted to visit USA since I was a child.

I have waited for this opportunity, because my brother went for a scholarship too. He went to the scholarship in Cape Town in South Africa for three years ago. He found it very interesting. He said it was an amazing experience. If he had the chance to participate again, he would do it. He made a lot of friends. He has improved his shyness and became better to meet new people. Now he is a more confident person. The school year in South Africa has helped him so much.
