My name is [NAVN A] and I am 16 years old. I live in Denmark with my wonderful family, mum, dad and my sister. We live in a large city called Vejle. I am a nine-grade student at Hældager primary school and this is my last year here.

I would really enjoy participating this scholarship. I saw this note at my schools noticeboard, when I saw it I knew this is a perfect opportunity for me. I have talked about it with everyone, my family, friends and specifically with my sister. I would really appreciate to participate this scholarship. It was a hard choice for me to choose, which place scholarship wanted to visit. I finally decided to participate in Bachmann Academy in Tennessee, USA. I have always wanted to visit USA since I was a child.

I have waited for this opportunity, because my sister went for a scholarship too. She went to the scholarship in Cape Town in South Africa for three years ago. She found it very interesting. She said it was an amazing experience. If she had the chance to participate again, she would do it. She made a lot of friends. She has improved her shyness and became better to meet new people. Now she is a more confident person. The school year in South Africa has helped her so much.
