What I really want is to know the world doesn’t end because of the humans. That’s the sad reality right now. We’re destroying our own home, the planet which is the whole reason we exist. At first, people just didn’t know about the serious damage, we were all implementing. But now people know about the risks we’re taking and yet; not a lot is being done to stop this worldwide problem. Yes, there’s been made some improvements, but definitely not enough to stop the world from probably ending this millennium.
There are all kinds of excuses; people working in the oil and gas industry say it’s too expensive to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions when producing gas. I get they want to save as much money as possible, but when the whole world suffers from the global warming this production of, in this case, gasoline is causing, then I think they need to produce it in a more climate-friendly manner. Such as in Brazil, where the alternative to gas is ethanol.
We’ve crossed the line of it being reversible, but this doesn’t mean we can’t do anything. Otherwise, it’s like dropping a water bottle and watch the water pour out, instead of picking it up as quick as possible, to make sure the smallest amount of water gets out.
