There are many different opinions when it comes to global warming.

Some believe that the ozone layer will thicken, and make it harder for the uv-rays to get out once they have gotten in, and because of that the earth will heat up rapidly, the ice on the ice caps will melt and the water level will rise and flood the continents. Others believe that the uv-rays cannot get in, once the ozone layer has thickened, and the earth will freeze.

Some people still will not believe in global warming.

The facts are that as the levels of carbon dioxide go up so does the temperature.

If Greenland were to melt, the water level of the entire globe would rise more than 20 feet.

More than a third of the area around shanghai would be flooded, more than 40 million people live there. More than 60 million people in Calcutta, India would have their homes flooded.

Because of global warming there are fewer days of frost and more days of heat.

The summer comes earlier and earlier and that has an affect on the animals, which has an affect on us.

When the summer is early it has several more days to heat up the ocean, and as the ocean gets hotter and hotter, the weather gets extreme. Hurricanes get their energy and power from the warm water and the more powerful the hurricane the more damage it can create.
