Serial Killers: En introduktion til fænomenet

Most of you know what a serial killer is or you have heard about it, on the internet or tv.

But what is a serial killer actually?

Where does it comes from?

And where started this kind of killing?

The word serial killer gives the meaning of the word itself: serial means something

that going further more than one time and the word killer speak for itself too, thats

one who kills.

The most of this killers are not well known, and the way how they think is

completely different compared with the normal people, so they must be otherwise,

since killing is strictly forbidden.

They live a lonely and isolated life, but i must say that they are all different, some

were known as a kindly person in the neighbourhood and nobody ever thought

what their terrible hobby was, and others didn’t even have contact with the society

at all.

Serial killing came from USA, specially after the second world war, but there is

also proves from other countries. The first case was in London in 1888

(eighteen,eightyeight), it was about Jack the Ripper, who killed 5 prostitutes and

Fritz Haarman in 1924, (nineteen,twentyfour.)

Another famous killer was Pedro Alonso Lopez who killed more than 300 innocents
