What is the title of the photo? Explain and think of a new title. We chose this photo called “Cross burning in Alabama”, by Jacob Holdt. The reason why we chose this photo are because it catched our eyes at the moment we saw the photo because the fire looked warm and chill, but it seemed weird that it was a cross that was on fire, but after we looked closer into the photo we saw it was the photo about the KKK which we found very interesting and wanted to know more about, example who they were and what they stood for and the different things that they did.

And then we had to choose a new title to the photo and we decided to name it “The cross burning ritual”.We chose this title because it was the title that we thought would suit the photo, we all did some research on the cross burning and found out that it was a symbol in the early 1900s. Cross-burnings called "cross-lightings" by Ku Klux Klan groups, have long been used as a traditional symbol by Klan groups, used both in Klan rituals as well as in attempts to intimidate and terrorize victims of Klan groups.
