My name is [NAVN A], I’m a fifteen-year-old female living in Denmark. I live with my parents and go to a private school.
In Denmark, we have a very opportunity-rich welfare system, where every citizen technically has the same opportunities. And compared to other countries, our welfare system is great, I don’t think enough people realise how lucky we are to have all of this.
But that doesn’t change the fact that there are still a lot of people around the world who don’t get to have the same opportunities, and do not get to live the life they deserve, because of something that they may not even have decided upon themselves.
Therefore, I would really like to go to New York, to participate in the youth camp: Fair opportunities for all - no matter who you are.
As I mentioned before, I think it is important to treat everybody the same way, no matter their race, colour or income. I do not think it is fair that some people do not get to have the same opportunities, solely because they might not be like everyone else.
I would love to meet people from around the world and learn more about them and their approach on this topic.
