In the summer of 2019, I had one of the best experiences of my life. I went to a youth camp for a week on Murran Island, it is an island situated off the Scottish coast. I was on the island with 200 other young people, and I met people from Australia, Great Britain, India, and South Africa. I had done all of those things within the first 4 days, so that meant I had a lot of time to hang around with my new friends.
The camp was built up like a big V with many tiny cabins in the sides and one big house in the middle. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner together at the big house. The house was massive so massive you could get lost and never find your way out again, because of the size there were a lot of rooms with room for activities and fun, plus all of the toilets and showers were inside the house.
The camp had a lot of outside activities too. You could for example cook over an open fire and do treasure hunts. There were so many things to do, like workshops on team building, positive thinking, yoga, and self-improvement. There are also many creative activities like music, drama, and painting as well. All of the activities at the camp were a lot of fun.
