Topic: an idea for an activity for the international workshop

Hello

I saw your post about that you are missing ideas for activities for your workshop. I immediately thought that I could help, as I have been to many different courses where we have been given some exercises for team building and getting to know people better. I immediately came to mind about one specific activity that I have done several times, and which I think is really fun. The 1st activity is called “Two Truths and a Lie”. The rules are as follows:

Start by getting each team member to write two truths and a lie about them on a piece of paper - no one else can see the paper. Afterwards, the teams get 10-15 minutes to interrogate each other around the various claims. The idea is to find out what is true and what is false, and on the other hand, to make others believe in your lie. After everyone has been "questioned", the teams gather in a circle where everyone, one at a time, has to sum up their claims in order, and then it is up to the group to guess which one is a lie. You can easily set up some kind of point system so that those who guess the lie get points and those who make the others guess wrong get points.
