The short story “Pill Pusher” is about a woman who works at a pharmacy and a costumer. The worker is going to serve a costumer, who did not like the service of the pharmacy. The customer needs medicine for her daughter. Her daughter can’t swallow pills, so the costumer needs to get the medicine in liquid form. The pharmacist needs to call the doctor because they are not allowed to sell anything that not is written on the prescription, without having contact with the doctor. The worker gets approve from the doctor and then sells the costumers a bottle of amoxicillin syrup. After that, they both realize that they have not been nice to each other and then apologize to each other. Then the worker gives a good advice how to use the medicine.
