It’s about a pharmacist working at the counter where the medicine is given to the patients. She’s tired of her job and she doesn’t like the thought of her selling drugs that can be addicting to people, and she also thinks her job is a waste of her talents. A lady waiting in line is impatient and frustrated about having to wait for her turn. The narrator looks at the woman and how she’s dressed which gives her a bad first impression. The pharmacist is trying to make the lady understand she has to wait for her turn, but instead they end up in a heated discussion. Afterwards the pharmacist discovers that the lady’s child has leukemia and feels bad about yelling.

Then it kind of makes her happy about her job, because she’s ‘’helping’’ people.
