Stray dogs.

I chose the topic, stray dogs. Stray dogs are dogs that have been abandoned or born by abandoned dogs. They eat trash or food that people leave for them. Stray dogs don’t have an easy life, the opposite, they get beaten up, and sometimes they even get shot on. Some people treat them like nothing.

Stray dogs are a very big problem in big parts of the world. In Europe, you don’t have to travel far to find stray dogs. You only have to visit Spain or Italy, to find some. The biggest problems are in Greece and turkey, they have an extreme number of stray dogs. Also, in Asia there are a lot, but what do they do to prevent there being this many stray dogs? Many areas around the world, most recently in preparation for the Olympics in Greece, have used poison and electricity for the killing of stray dogs. But it has been found that when killing the dogs in this inhumane way, an empty biological space arises, which is quickly filled by many new puppies and that one actually ends up with a much larger population of dogs. There are approx. 200 million stray dogs in the whole world. More than 75 % of the world's dogs are stray. There aren’t really no stray dogs in Denmark. If you have to get rid of the dog, then you either sell it or put it to sleep. I think that’s a better solution than just leave them in the street and let them to die. I think it’s absolutely heartless to treat another being like that.
