Brev om ferietraditioner i Danmark og Australien

I’m [NAVN A], and I'm very excited to meet you. I'm writing this letter because I want to know how you spent the holidays in Australia.

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys and I hope this will be an awesome holiday.

I want to see the difference in how we celebrate the holidays. Fx. here in Denmark it is winter time and it is cold outside. Sometimes it snows, other times it doesn't. I've heard that in Australia it's summer time when it is Christmas and new year. Therefore I've got some questions for you. I want to know if you hold Christmas eve on the 24th or the 25th, because I know it is very different from country to country, when you celebrate it. I have heard that Santa takes to the beach on Christmas, is that right? We love to eat duck and gravy on Christmas eve in Denmark, but what kind of food do you eat on Christmas eve, is it different from what we eat on Christmas eve? I'm also looking forward to holding a hot Christmas for once, it will be nice to try something new. I just hope that it doesn't get too hot, because then you would like to be inside instead of outside in the sun.
